Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Takedown Policy

IGDL respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Our Role

This service acts as a technical proxy — we do not store, host, or distribute Instagram content. We simply facilitate the retrieval of publicly available content directly from Instagram's CDN servers. We do not cache or retain any media files.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the following:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The specific URL of the Instagram post containing the allegedly infringing content
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner
  • Your electronic or physical signature

Please note: Since we do not host any content, the appropriate party to contact is Instagram/Meta directly at Instagram's Copyright Help Centre.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was incorrectly removed, you may file a counter-notice with the required statutory information.

Repeat Infringers

We will terminate access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
